re: furry drama news ( - , a loose rundown of iguana crimes )
@Draekos I actually feel a lot better about myself after reading that. XD Just because I used to think I was a bad person.
re: furry drama news ( + )
@Draekos I stopped paying attention to the problem iguana and his toy in... what, 2015?
How, uh, bad did it have to get?
re: MH(-), DID? Fuck knows
@clipclopboom@snouts.online I'll be sure to give uni some support when you folks are in a better Physical location.
The banners and heraldry are representative of how you folks have been feeling about yourselves, and how to represent that to the outside world. You're feeling like you need a Flag.
And the Siege? Yeah.. What do you think you're going through emotionally right now?
Alicorn, you're a Siege Engine, you're being told to dig in and hunker down because the enemy army is on a Timer.
And that drives things like you and Tohri mad.
wealth and virtue, or lack thereof (gets dark)
If you are a multi-billionaire and you are not actively and directly working towards solving the great problems of humanity - mortality and constraint to Earth - then you are doing something evil and stupid.
A multi-billionaire is a person who has taken a measurable amount of resources from almost every person on Earth. A multi-billionaire is someone who has provided some great service, maximized some opportunity, and accumulated resources vastly beyond the reach of the sweeping majority of humans.
A multi-billionaire is a person who can direct vast resources to solve the problems that will ultimately kill us all: the very fact that humans can die, and are trapped on Earth and eventually the Sun will die. A person who is not a multi-billionaire may be able to direct some resources to this effort, but being hired by a multi-billionaire can free them up to direct many more resources to this effort. A multi-billionaire can hire many such people.
So if you are a multi-billionaire and are not seeking the end of mortality and the solar era with every fiber of your being and every spare resource you have, why? You will die! All of us will die! Everyone you have ever known, met, seen, or loved will die, and you are in a unique position as someone who can make very real progress against this.
We judge pharma CEOs all day for the crap they do that impoverishes and kills thousands, and we should extend the same contempt toward those who could save billions of lives and are not working towards any such goal.

@GlitterDisaster@snouts.online You're in a liminal place in your life right now.
Do what you can to care for yourself in this time. You're on the train in-between two places that will be your Home for a while, in a temporal way. Read, listen to audiobooks, catch up on some quality introvert time.
It's just as valid as the Extroverted, Doing something with your life, having fun, making friends and working hard at something Important parts of your life. Because when your life is like that, sooner or later there comes a day when you really just need a week to lay around the bedroom and play some video games.
And I know about physical limitations on things, I know about feeling unwelcome in public spaces, and I know about feeling useless. And I'm still coming on here and saying that I truly believe all of the Above, too.
re: drug use
@vanessalynne Where I come from, it's common amongst everyone.
re: Horny, gravid dragons
@Cilich Oh, and I don't even have to be a dragoness to be full of eggs.
Trying to work on cars while you're gravid is a pain.
re: mh, -
@kistaro I used to have a major problem with that, so I started trying to be as honestly outwardly positive as possible, especially on social media.
It was mostly because I discovered Mastodon and wanted to actually make it a really positive place, but the Recoil on that particular action is that I'm never worried if people like me or not.
I'm being Honest, I'm being positive, and when I'm feeling down, I like to end my posts with a positive thought because every Downer story needs a ray of hope at the end, because Everyone loves the Comeback Sequel.
re: Horny, gravid dragons
@Cilich I feel so called out by this post.
re: selfie
@pandora_parrot You look amazing!
@skolli Why not both?
The music in the waiting room at Kerithe's transformation therapies clinic is Muzak versions of 90s alt-rock songs.
Bloodhound Gang, The Offspring, Green Day, and some nickelback plinks harmlessly from the speakers dangling from the overhanging trees.
"The Bad Touch" plays with a chiptune melody as a teenage girl walks out with her parents, overjoyed at finally having the body she'd always wanted since she was a little boy.
