re: masto drama snark

@leafnoodle I wish there wasn't so much push back to the idea of just manually re-uploading to masto any content you wanted to cross post. It skips the automated stuff that has no relevance and allows you to reformat for the much better mastodon length and lets you add relevant CWs that twitter culture seems to not care to bother with. It feels like an arguement from the twitter side where they just don't want to put a little more effort in to follow how the two communities differ in their interaction. We want their content, as long as its relevant and you know, treated as something they want to interact with.

@wobblewuffess Stormcrows are far more important than silly catapults anyway, best take care of them!

@IrisKalmia Slowly a tea ball glints from the dark recesses of a forgotten cabinet, and the foreboding chirp begins anew.

@IrisKalmia I would say at least some bit of you existed before demoning. It still works!

@IrisKalmia Well it definitely is an after demon account anyway.

re: slur question

@catoxis @Oneironott It honestly wasn't even a slur at its introduction. It was used by the SA trans community as a shorthand on our private IRC channels. Then the usual suspects started using it mockingly directed back at us and towards other trans people.
That was years ago and the KFers picked up steam so its volume of usage is weighted down by them now.
Just a word that belies the user was probably around something awful at some point. Have to watch for context otherwise.

re: slur question

@Oneironott Just a portmanteau of trans and goon, but since a ton of the worst folks harassing trans people these days are SA bitter vets who are mad at how the community became more accepting, it gets flung around derisively to not allow them to identify themselves openly.

re: slur question

@Oneironott Name that came up for the trans something awful goon community. Half used supportively by it, half used to mock them by the shitheads who are mad the community is protected on SA now.

re: ahhhh, birdsite [cw transphobia]

@irisjaycomics Depressing dark irony that he would only reinforce his own ideals in that idols are never really what you want them to be. Fucking sad day.

@Talija @wobblewuffess And then there is the chirp and head tilt combo that works so well >.>

warframe spoilers, roboposting, trans, dysphoria, kinda gross

@fluxom_alt I rather enjoyed that development in the end, especially with just how important the frames were to your operator.

Including how they skipped hard coded genders in the options for how you wanted your operator to be, and left it open ended to match the fluidity of their main identities.

A really nice way to match identity to the shifting aspects of how the game lets you play.

Minor body horror (~)

I could really use these way too old legs just melting and being reshaped differently. I am not even picky but the structure needs some maintenance.

@wobblewuffess Kobold minions just know you need your sleep and can get about to taking care of things that dragons are too sleepy to do.

MH ~ (+?)

@Talija It actually seemed really nice in the short time I got to try it, certainly better than the attempts at ssris.

Today would be a good day for a water snek to be lounging by the pool. Ending up half draining it and just snatching some tasty things nearby to taste until this heatwave ends.

Too much chirp, not enough direction to chirp at. Forks need a stability merging.

I may not be able to see it here but today is such a lovely moon right now.
