I'm kind of curious about the origins of some of the other ones too. The game boy color is CGB, which makes sense (Color Game Boy), the game boy advance is AGB, which makes sense (Advanced Game Boy), the GBA SP is AGS, clearly a derivative of AGB, the wii is RVL from its development codename Revolution, but why is the DS NTR? Why is the DS lite USG? Why is the 3DS CTR? Why is the New 3DS KTR? What's the P in the Wii U's WUP?

okay, reading more about this wifi vulnerability, here's what i got:
- the biggest vulnerability is on the device side, and every OS is affected. install your gosh-dang security updates
- update your router firmware if possible
- if your device doesn't have a security update, assume every wifi hotspot (including your home) is 100% public and unencrypted, forever
