Trance; life; clubbing

Though I wouldn't go as far as saying trance music /saved/ my life, it's definitely a lifeline for me.
I discovered it as soon as I started discovering good music, and alongside many other discoveries in college, when I finally had room to expand myself into that wasn't space taken up by all the things my parents wanted for me.

Trance music can be a communal tribal experience, a connection, a wonder.

Except in America apparently.

@emanate I’ve been thinking about this too, because i think Trance was the first time i “felt” emotion in music to the extent that i do.
It was the first time i felt magically and happily -guided- by music. Back in the day catching onto 4 Strings, ATB… i felt like it was a piece of a better place, or a better headspace, carved into the world through music.
Trance was and is always so shamelessly joyous, communal, tribal, and devoted to such -positivity-

@emanate Trance low-key saved my life as always being a link to positivity and warmth in a way that cut through depression that engulfed my life. Sometimes, back then, it was the only time i’d genuinely smile, like when i’d catch that melody that just tingled that Right Place.
I love Trance, and i think i largely took that for granted until i met you ^^’
