I finished fixing all the code that was calling the SearchDialogDefinition function last night, so ... now I have to go back through each dialog box call, and check the surrounding code for any of the old functions I just replaced, and repoint them properly...

Does anybody know of a better free hex editor? I mostly want something stable and easily usable, but also preferably with support for displaying contents using a replacement table (Translhextion calls this feature "Thingy table view", after an old DOS editor called Thingy).
Also, I'm on Windows most of the time, so something that runs on Windows is preferable.

I've been using a hex editor from 2001 (Translhextion 1.6c) for most binary viewing/editing. It's the least buggy/annoying free hex editor I've found for Windows, but it still has some dumb bugs (like moderately small filesize limits, random crash bugs, etc).
