re: Gun history, funny
@daylight @maidofclay@snouts.online So how did it actually work, if its design was based on something unphysical?
re: Gun history, funny
@daylight Wait, what?
@Motodrachen I was hoping for a solution that doesn't require patience, because we don't have all that much of that sometimes.
Hm. I tried to repair a crack in our laptop case with superglue last night, and managed to superglue shut the laptop. I got it open, but now there's a big blob of hardened superglue on it that we probably ought to get rid of. Anyone know how to do that? A solvent that dissolves polymerized cyanoacrylate but not whatever plastic this laptop is made of would be ideal.
@cozykaffe@snouts.online It depends on the game, I'm sure. A three-year-old could play educational software with fun characters, but you'd probably need to be at least five or six to hope to play simple games like Space Invaders reasonably competently, and while you could probably stumble through RPGs at similar ages, how well you do at them would depend on your reading comprehension skill, which varies from person to person.
@dodec Perhaps making such a box would be an interesting project at some point.
@dodec I'm impressed by the legibility of some of the more intricate characters in there.

@Critter This gave me entirely the wrong mental image, since we know Hitachi as a brand of hard drives.
@monorail Your best bet might be to find a single-user instance.
@chr I don't think there's any law saying you can't publish a book of blank pages. There may be restrictions on what exactly you can claim copyright on, though.
@Austin_Dern Most of what I'm wondering has no real importance, it's merely curiosity. The game has a surprisingly intricate lottery system, and I'm curious how exactly it works.
@Austin_Dern Suikoden 3.
@Caudle Miyazaki sounds like the Mr. Rogers of Japan.
