@KawaSeadrake @lizardsquid Given that the context is computer geekery, it seems apt to compare the learning curve to Dwarf Fortress. So, is it nowhere near as steep as DF, or just about half as steep as DF? (nothing has a steeper learning curve than DF.)
@JulieSqveakaroo Oh, it's a multiple term. Basically, I just meant a name that Felthry and I can use to refer to, well, the whole thing, both of us and anyone else who might appear.
@mawr Oh, wait, maybe it's making a link to "paddle".
@mawr How does it predict "canoe" from "dd"?
@Dex What is that recurring element?
@JulieSqveakaroo I don't know what that means!
Assumed common knowledge, statistics, almost but not quite a rant
@Terrana@tootplanet.space Like any other situation, there's a relevant xkcd that comes to mind: https://xkcd.com/1053/
@literorrery I perked up a bit when I saw it was a text box, and not a dropdown menu. But then it did that.
@literorrery It's a form we're filling out for a background check from a company called Risk Mitigation.
Plural Problems (+++)
@Draekos I do hope you figure out what works for you.
Plural Problems (+++)
@Draekos It's always difficult to sort out at first. We've settled into our routine fairly well, but there are a number of things that we do that would be impractical for more than two people.
@mawr @announcements Out of curiosity, are they two-headed, or just right next to each other?
Headmate to @Felthry, still figuring out how things are after a long absence.
Twenty-something feminine-leaning androgynous arcaninetales taur usually with two heads. Interests in puzzles, engineering, and a good book, and curling up with a good friend.
Pronouns... zhe/zhir for now, but that might change in future.
