(Kharaal is me, of course!)
trans thoughts, dysphoria (~-)
This is probably also a result of my mind desperately trying to fixate on something besides "things would be better if I had been born a girl", which has been... a pretty strong theme today.
Shadowrun thoughts
Thinking ahead - very very far ahead in this case, to one of the Big Bads of the Shadowrun game that I'm in. Specifically, thinking ahead to the confrontation with the denouement and the completion and et cetera. I think I know how I would take care of it...
...of course, the last time I did that, I was so hilariously off-base that it was just silly when I looked back. This will probably be the same way.
Elite: Dangerous, Beta Lyrae, did they model the gas exchange?
Yeah, they just... removed the second star. There's no contact binary happening in this system at all. No gas exchange, no accretion disc, no torus...
Alas.
Elite: Dangerous, Beta Lyrae, did they model the gas exchange?
...This binary system (in real life) has like... four stars in it...?
No sign of the accretion disc or gas exchange though. :/
Elite: Dangerous, Beta Lyrae, did they model the gas exchange?
That's "steamed hams but it's roses are red" for those of you keeping score on just how far I can fall.
Periodic reminder that in "Jurassic Park", when Lex says "It's a UNIX system!", she's right; what's on the screen is fsn, a graphical file browser for SGI IRIX-based computers. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fsn_(file_manager)
Rare coastal dragoness, often found by sunny sea cliffs. Nonbinary but fairly femme-leaning. If you're under 18 don't follow.
