Welp. It's the day of travel for the con, so of course my brain has decided that my ex, That Monster, is going to be there with his family and all things will be horrible and I'll have to hide in the room the entire con. Thank you, brain. This is really not useful.
Luckily enough I've been dealing with this bullshit for several years now, so I've headed most of the anxiety off before it can actually do harm.

being a dragon fan since the mid-70s means knowing that you're probably going to be rooting for the losing side in most popular productions, and learning to be ok with that--in part, because in your own mind you can always make the dragons win anyway.
home adaptations
Okay. Upstairs cat6 cables laid, got a stopper for the tub plus a hair catcher thingy, and some plumber's tape for swapping the shower fixture later. Also added a doorstop to another door so it'll stop damaging the walls.
Time for short skirts.

The reason they directly reference Back to the Future 2 is not because Alan Silvestri scored both films, but to remind you that you really shouldn't think too hard about time travel films. Don't think about the interweavings of cause and effect, don't try to track continuities, just let the movie carry you.
