I can never goddamn remember "ngl" is "Not gonna lie", it feels like I somehow missed whenever people started using that acronym.
Trying out VR Chat streamed to my phone, because a phone-based VR headset is 50NZD as opposed to 1000.
This was just testing, mind you. I don't have a headset at all yet.
"Kiwi" should only refer to kiwi birds. The berry is "kiwifruit".
Anything else is a bunch of children standing on each others' shoulders in an ugly kiwi costume, screeching about their voice being heard while reframing everyone else's.
Don't defile my goddamn national bird.

@Eon They're almost certainly closed at the moment, and said recently something like they art only on weekends or will try to open again in a few weeks or... I dunno~.

For folks who don't know: RT and In The Now are actual propaganda designed to be consumable and attractive to progressive Western audiences. They are a facet of the overall propaganda structure that includes Russia Today's internal (within Russia, in Russian) propaganda. Russia Today is much more directly anti-queer, anti-Semitic, etc, and RT filters this into a package DESIGNED to be palatable to English-speaking westerners, with the goal of spreading "just asking questions" style disinfo.

Do not share RT and In The Now (which is of course designed explicitly to look like NowThis) content, even if it seems innocuous. If it's something legit sounding, find another several sources for it. Supporting these platforms in any way is helping people do serious harm to queer people and other minorities.

Me: We shouldn'tve made computers so accessible to the computer illiterate, because it's resulted in making it harder to control administration things, making the internet simplified in wikis and Wordpress everywhere, and all-in-one hardware you can't modify.
Also me: oh god linux is scary
@Soreth I know in my mind that if I moved to Linux I would have more control, but I'm just not enough of a power-user to be confident in it, nor confident in relying on Wine for over half of the programs I use.
Also I just noticed Music was at the bottom of my quick access, which probably means the same update that regenerated those folders messed up quick access too.
