It's bad enough that Meme Accounts steal crap in the first place but I didn't think about the fact they make *money* off of stolen content, because something viral enough is considered public domain.

I strongly associate people with their avatars. So people without any sort of persona that just use the latest Cool Thing They Like as avatars, I mean that's fine and all, but I end up mixing up people if they're all using the same character or something.

@Goldkin Is this what it's like for the other side when it comes to the likes of Twitter? Everyone cries that Twitter is dying or whatever, but the "normie" faction look around wondering what the heck they're talking about.
Because I can't see anything about Mastodon dying from here. And it better damn well not. (Not until we revive forums anyway.)
