@irisjaycomics Same; my own gender feelings are very much "femme with a side of completely beyond human understandings of gender"; been kind of at an impasse as to _what_ I'd use on the side other than shi/hir though. n.n; They/them doesn't feel like it fits me personally, and while I've toyed around with neopronouns before I can't seem to come up with fitting ones that also jive with English like, at all.

@Felthry Sorta like that, though obviously the actual circumstances under which Afrikaans separated from Dutch are pretty different from the ones in which Scots separated from English; like, there isn't exactly a dialect continuum between the two, obviously.
@Felthry Fairly intelligible, though actually trying to speak it usually doesn't end well. That said, there are a bunch of false friends between the two, and knowing English on the side helps a ton due to influence from that.
