It was cloudy here and I couldn't see the lunar eclipse.

Did you see it?

Tonight, about 8 hours from the time of this post, if you have clear skies, look for the moon

It will have three designations tonight, a rare treat.

Super moon: closer than usual, appearing bigger in the night sky.

Blood moon: lunar eclipse, making the moon appear reddish.

Blue moon: Second full moon within the same month.

Here in Texas (USA) the eclipse will be total at 6:51AM CDT/GMT -6:00, just before dawn.

Nearly full moon.

Cold dry air.

Great weather for camping or night-hiking.

If there was no moon, it would be a perfect night for star-gazing and meteor watching with cocoa and a snuggle-partner.
