Firearms mention, +

Went to the range, pewed guns with some friends, had delicious food after. All in all a pretty good day. ^^

Got to fire some pretty uncommon weapons including a M1941 Johnson, which was a competitor to the M1 Garand.

Seriously debating moving to Linux primarily and just dual booting Windows for ZBrush and a few games.

Firearms mention, +

Going out to the desert tomorrow to go pew guns at targets with friends, should be fun.

@Leucrotta I do that bunches, it's rewarding and fun! Especially going into the middle of nowhere for a while. ^^

Another project finished and in testing phase.

Now I have a little actual down time, this is weird. Maybe I should socialize...

So, hi everyone! How's it going tonight? ^^

Gotta love Eureka! moments working on a project. ^^

Seem to come to me the most often while I occupy the majority of my thoughts on other things for a bit

@Leucrotta Huh, I might have to give grits another try at some point, then. They were always distinctly unpleasant when I've had them but I might try making them at home and use sugar and butter in it.

Also that mix with herbs and such sounds kinda tasty. ^^

Mental Health, Family, +

Talked to my mom about my Asperger's diagnosis and apparently found out she has a mild form of it. Coupled with it being common, or the traits of it, in my family on her side.

I found that oddly comforting as far as coming to terms with it goes.

I'm glad I chose the work hours I did. It fits well with my inability to sleep ever.

I was lonely, so I made a friend! ^^ I will paint them tomorrow, but here is dolph-friend!

Some nights can be especially lonely, as my romantic partner lives in Washington and I moved down to Arizona for a job. Distance can be hard for anyone and so can loneliness.

For others who have similar situations, of being far from loved ones, or even friends, or even just needing someone, then here is a dolphin friend for you as well. ^^

@Leucrotta Autumn? What are these..... seasons? I know only sand, and sand.

Today I learned drinking water while living in a desert is important.

Do not be like me and forget to drink water besides a cup with pills, while on a diuretic like spironolactone, while chugging caffeine, on an extremely hot day.

And then get home, proceed to do physical work of running cables and then wonder why you feel overheated, shivery, shaky, exhausted, and about to collapse.

Drink. Water.

@Leucrotta Alternate drawing one day, job hunt the next. I learned channeling my stress into art drove rapid improvement. ^^

Drug mention, sleep issues, -

Have laid off weed for about 3 and a half weeks from daily usage and my sleep has returned to crappy. Urgh.

Only laid off because it was starting to make me sluggish the following day and had to counterbalance it with high caffeine levels.

There is no winning, stupid body. -.-

At least my anxiety spikes haven't returned.

Meanwhile at 3:46 AM I'm wide awake. Guess I'll wake myself up at 11 or something.
