Good news for folks interested in #TF content who weren't able to make it to Furnal Equinox - we got good audio of the panel we ran, so we'll be posting it as a live episode of the podcast soon!

One thing I'll add here is that the challenge will be to actually bring this more fully into my day to day life. Even if I'm not going to be like "yo hey everyone, check out my TF porn", I think I need to be better about not slicing off parts of myself to fit into various groups. Given that roughly 50% of my RL friends at home are already furries, I can probably stand to be at least a little realer with them.

This turned out really great! My friends not only decorated, but also got a cake and sung happy birthday. Given that I just dumped "can you please host a board games day for me as a birthday thing, I guess" in their laps about 2 weeks ago, it was really touching

The sweetest part was one of the friends I'd played Civ with earlier, who I'd talked about how excited I was that playing as the Maori was now an option, saying that he was going to decorate the cake with Happy Birthday in Maori (but was thwarted by finding he had no icing left)

My friends are pretty cool - I asked to have a birthday board games at their house and they decorated in a way that is startlingly appropriate

The internet is completely hosed at my work and has been since noon, so given that a baby shower party just started up right next to my desk, I might go ahead and clock off 1.5 hours early for Friday. Maybe I'll take advantage of the unseasonably warm weather to walk home

@angrboda I'm really glad you liked this. It was something a bit different and it took a while to get out, so I'm really glad it turned out well

Had a very low-key dinner of leftovers tonight, with a dessert of snacks my parents sent from home. Tomorrow though I need to go to the store anyway, so I'm sure I'll have some good birthday ice-cream then
