Long walks on the beach

At the motel up by the beach in Whangaparoa, which has thankfully lived up to expectations of being rather nice. Time to kick back and chill with @angrboda for the next few days!

It's kind of impressive how many marks this is missing.

I thought for a long time "Everyone's a little bit racist" isn't a great sentiment, but I haven't actually listened to the song in ages and holy shit does it not play well. Some highlights:
- Everyone tells racist jokes, but they're funny, so chill
- Someone setting up a school for a minority is exactly as racist as thinking all members of a minority are related
- it's funny when someone in an stereotypical Asian accent says "lacist"

My friends are organizing an outing to Avenue Q in about a month, so I figured I'd listen to the soundtrack to determine if I want to come. I saw the show something like 7 years ago and enjoyed it, but WOW do I not have time for it any more

I have been in this training for too long - for half a second when the instructor used the word "query" I thought he was meaning "queer-y", like, queer-like, and suddenly was once again paying attention

The trainer I am listening to via Skype for the next 4 hours calls it "Internet Exploder", which seems to be pretty much indicative of his joke-telling inclinations

@Antifreeze yo, if you haven't already, try the Tales from the Borderlands series. Even if you don't care about Borderlands, it's great. The opening to the second episode is possibly my favourite game opening/credits sequence of all time
