@fineursine ha, unfortunately no - I know some passable German, but as I was saying to Ang yesterday, that barely counts because everyone in Germany universally speaks English, and very politely interrupts your attempts at German to go with the more efficient communication

Just had a week's vacation approved, AND been told that the job title change I've had recently is in fact a promotion, which comes with a 10% raise, effective at the beginning of April.

@tfproxy you should be - you did a really good job laying the groundwork for it, as well as deftly managing it as it progresses. Ang and I have been after something like this for ages, and we're both thrilled to see how well you've nailed it

@fineursine not Blockbuster, but my first job was about 3-4 years part time at a slightly more local equivalent. Which, apparently, we found out last time we went home for Christmas, that particular branch is only just closing down now
@fineursine @tfproxy @Antifreeze wowwww, this brings back memories - I used to be the one handing these out. Although ironically, by the time I started working there, probably our most popular rental device was a VHS machine, so folks could watch all the old stuff that hadn't come to DVD yet

@tfproxy oof, sorry dude. If it helps, the game is a lot less interesting if no one goes predator, and folks *should* be mad at me for using you as a tool to keep everyone else down while my screaming tree babies just quietly won the game for me
@kotep I feel this so hard. In every way, getting things started is often the hardest part, but also in TF porn stories you like, *have* to cover so much of the same ground in the beginning that it can be super wearying
At Heathrow airport, getting set to fly out for a rad weekend at #FE followed by a chill week hanging with Ang and Terry. It's going to be really nice!
