Job interview
"What are your biggest weaknesses?"
"Whenever I enter into combat, I fall into predictable and easily counterable patterns. Also, all my vulnerable spot begins to flash bright red, somehow"
"I see"
"I'm also not much into small talk. I'm more of a grand proclamations about epic quests and the fate of the universe hanging in the balance kind of person"
@tef @federicomena that sounds a hell of a lot like what crossbeam does!

Have you forgotten what we were like then
when we were still first rate
and the day came fat with an apple in its mouth
it's no use worrying about Time
but we did have a few tricks up our sleeves
and turned some sharp corners
the whole pasture looked like our meal
we didn't need speedometers
we could manage cocktails out of ice and water
I wouldn't want to be faster
or greener than now if you were with me O you
were the best of all my days

@d6 it's really very good. Also, it had enabled my favorite testing based pun so far (:
meta + politics
I do think we have an opportunity to re-establish *how* we talk about things here, though.
My style of speaking about news and politics on twitter grew very unconsciously. I was/am one voice in a torrent. 5-6 years ago I was still in the glow of a political awakening. The rawness of me and others going through that played to twitter's advantage - fiery proclamations and long arguments are the "engagement" that is an ad platform's lifeblood.
I'm 100% back on my bullshit
Interestingly, these gurdies lack a "dog", the loose piece of wood that, when turning the wheel faster, can be made to "bark". I thought French instruments of the time had them normally, but maybe this is a different kind! They're described in the Italian museum catalog, but I can't read it /:
Aaah, I've moved over to another mastodon account! Follow me on @antifuchs!
