Our cat Lyla is scared of the fireworks, but won't come upstairs to bed down with the family like she usually does. Her instincts compel her to hunker down in the lower parts of the house.

Pray for us sinners, now and in the hour of our being at a week-long professional workshop requiring frequent daily social interactions with people we don't know well.

It's a while since we talked here about how tomatoes are good, but they still are.

Just explained freezer burn to my family, in case anyone still imagined that I was even the least bit sufferable.
