I don’t even really like SlideOver as a Safari use case; gimme a split window or go away. Overlapping windows make me itch and I’d rather have infinite columns
@konomikitten near as I can tell it’s mainly useful for people who are already all in with Pocket as a “to read later” service to begin with

Downside of Instant Pot braise: whole house becomes redolent
Upside: don’t have to leverage chronic insomnia in order to feed
Other upside: I can use beer instead of maple sugar and prayer
I literally can’t think of anything which isn’t equivalent or beefier on the tiny laptop except for a few irrelevant security features. Even SSD should be faster.
probably next week I should sit down and tell Windows to Perform Performantly
On paper, my tiny laptop should be able to smash through the thing I’m doing faster than the slightly more cumbersome one with less RAM, VRAM, or useful cooling
In practice, the cumbersome one is smashing the task relative to the tiny one performing an equivalent job a few weeks ago
computers are weird
In an ideal world, I would go find a massive beanbag couch, sink in, and play a Pokémon of some sort
Why is world not ideal and why is beanbag not here
@noiob yeah, this is most of what I use Siri for tbh. Assistant for turning lights pink and blue, Siri for tea
@noiob I feel like there should be? But in the end, my partner just ends up repeating “TURN. THE LIGHTS. ON. Please” a whole lot, and Home/Assistant always forgets what we told one of those lights to do other than turn on at something thirty pm
re: Food, Casual Rec Request, Sensory Seeking
@pastelbat NP! You could probably use other warming spices alongside or in place of the ginger, but I’m not sure how well the tea pairing would go. If you like the yujacheong and enjoy green chillies, look into yuzu kosho!
