@shaderphantom gotta give fast ring something to hate on
Pokémon GO feature wishlist point
Pokémon Go needs some kind of visit/sitter/play date mode where you can send your buddy out with a friend for short periods, get some diminished XP/stuff from stops, be a support pal in battles maybe.
I have no idea how this would work, or how to mitigate abuse of the feature. Probably what I really want is to let my spouse take my Pokeball out without having to also take my phone.
@shaderphantom oh wow, now I just wanna make braised everything
@shaderphantom All day, I kept thinking about this documentary I saw on radioactive wild boars in Fukushima.
@noelle you think you downloaded a moon but the d/l turns out to be a space station
re: CW: Fully armed and operational Battlestation, Amazon Link
@kelseyhusky Thank you so much!
oblique mention of uspol campaign ads, no content
sometimes I just want to replace my television and streaming box with a ginormous monitor and a headless laptop or something I could remote Into. Linear content is reassuring but ad content is most assuredly not. It won’t be for some time. If ever again. (Let me watch Another Period reruns in peace, Pluto!)
My network situation is a bit more complex than many home users, but a Pihole is still not out of the question. This is so aggravating.
fun electoral season. Fun.
CW: Fully armed and operational Battlestation
@kelseyhusky As someone currently struggling to get their cable management situation in order, this gives me life. Thank you for posting it! What cable wraps did you use?
(also, eeeee your plush)
@Jo I love season 3 so much for exactly that reason, but yeah.
@Jo this atrocious jewel of an episode
splatoon
(I would probably play more social games if it didn’t feel like setting myself up for demoralizing experiences, so walking around downtown looking at art is nontrivially appealing)
splatoon
I only managed to get hold of Splatoon on the Wii U just as everyone migrated to 2 on the Switch, and was too absorbed in PLG Eevee to punch in before the last Fest
At this point, should I just hold out for Splatoon 3, or enjoy the wealth of single-player content + Octo Expansion? I didn’t really get far with single-player on 1 and it always felt like community stuff was a big part of the point
@Jo makes sense with Perry Mason, since Warner’s doing a reboot for their streaming service and they might want a piece of that “who’s Perry Mason?” buzz.
mass murder, arson, graphic content
@slimepunk Anime News Network is also keeping atop of reports for more detail

@slimepunk People who might not want that level of detail but still keep up can keep tabs on NHK’s English language news service — as of this date stamp, this is the active story

It doesn’t help that the Rifftrax/DVD version has that annoying speed up you get when some standards conversion or another was done without a pitch shift to match the original, like old R2 Star Trek releases or every release of He-Man/She-Ra since the original masters were lost
