@Jo The reporting around this has been terrible. (Why this in particular got cherrypicked when so many outlets could have gone with “international distribution rights to The Walking Dead” is a bit over my head.)

@Jo My guess is they’re aiming to be more of a Corus or DHX. The way the news is covering things makes it sound like they went out and also bought a record company, rather than buying a silo which happens to have scooped up Death Row Records’ catalogue to bolster its existing label. Hasbro may divest, or they may be happy for the extra income.

Dunno if current series (Beast Morphers) is suffering from the same changeover woes as Wild Force did, since Viacom is making access very tough here. The toys have been stellar, from playline to adult collector. Can’t say enough about the SPD Shadow Ranger they dropped like a mic.

@Jo Hasbro acquired PR from Saban a couple years back and changed the logo, yes. Fits better on toy packaging now. Saban still has name on it at present but that will likely phase out
