so the hypothesis of these food delivery services is that by being dispatched by a central service rather than a single restaurant the consumer can order from more restaurants, but in reality now your delivery driver is getting shafted and you get a wide selection of cold food

UPDATE: doordash seem to have “updated” their checkout so it now defaults to the (still broken because their domain isn’t registered to use it) Apple Pay, and you now have to click one of two very small buttons to toggle it back to a credit card, or the form just breaks entirely

(yes I know that it’s possible to produce a monochrome Blu-ray but it still definitely feels like an anachronism)
