I believe the camera uses some sort of algorithm to fill in the gaps (depth sensor resolution is less than photo resolution, so it interpolates) which results in some wonderfully glitchy stuff at edges of objects

I found an app which can extract just the depth map from portrait mode photos and honestly I kind of love the look of them when filtered

ngl id probably begrudgingly pay US$29 again for a no man’s sky dlc pack which adds somewhat more uh feminine grunts when your player character is doing shit, it’s kind of very distracting

it’s hard to see from the video but you can see in the first few frames where the ball came from, he turned a pretty sloppy delivery from the midfield into an extremely tricky actual goal

(for reference, if the ball had crossed between the posts where this guy was, it’d have been a score of 1 point, by keeping it in bounds and then kicking it through the posts he moved to he turned it into 6 points …afl is weird but yeah)
