getting annoyed at the phrase “The Bay Area” because hundreds of places around the world have bays and population centres near them but this refers to a *specific* one somehow

so much of this is why I trusted and adored the AirPort range, it was rarely the fastest or the most technically superior device, but it worked with zero fuss, and the setup app works on a computer and also doesn’t fucking have in app purchases

so like, the only router that Apple are selling now starts at 2x the price of the current AirPort Extreme, an already kinda expensive router

meanwhile the other routers people recommended are NA-only & also uh require an app which wants to sell you an internet security suite lol
