@remmah Probably the same reason early movies weren’t kept very well - they were seen as pretty disposable, and unlikely to be wanted further out than 1-2 years from release.

@Cyarron The game is *gorgeous* and really well put-together, but really not well-suited to a fan translation, lol

@Cyarron I'd basically have to write my own text-rendering code for it in 68000 assembly and tie it into the timing of the voice clip playback code. Sounds like a nightmare. 😩

@erinolivia Hardsubs in the FMVs would be fine for FMVs, but yeah, I'm guessing sometihng much cleverer for the rest of the game'll be necessary. Does it have text usually?
