I just found out about Étoile Princesse - a very cute, very pretty action RPG developed by Exact in 1993, a few years before they made Jumping Flash for PS1.

I’m still trying to figure out why FFmpeg’s Cinepak is being rejected by the Saturn, but it’s a bit less pressing now that I have access to a vintage Cinepak encoder. My muxer’s still very useful for replacing audio.

Now that my FILM muxer is in FFmpeg, I think my next step will be writing up a blog post on it! I didn’t find many resources on this kind of thing, so I hope writing about my experiences will help other people - and be interesting in general.
