@Leucrotta

Capitol Hill Medical, if they have openings. One of the best with queer/trans folks. capitolhillmedical.com/

Also good: Country Doctor clinic (which also takes the local state-provided free healthcare): countrydoctor.org/country-doct

Queen Anne Medical Associates: queenannemedicalassociates.com

Those are the ones I know of for sure that friends of mine go to. :-}

In a pinch, the UW Medical clinics have shown themselves to be overall very good with queer folks too.

@LexYeen@snouts.online Well. Yes, but we kinda grew capitalism over several thousand years of development.
Not that it can't be destroyed in much, much faster a time. :-}

re: literally heretical thought about Christianity and Judaism, shitpost-adjacent

@kistaro He does get called 'The Lion of Judah' a bit, and I often see him as a lion in furry kid's cartoons. :-P
(plus like, Aslan basically)

@Jacel @starkatt

The Core is stupid fun!
Explorers I only saw part of as a kid, so it remained mysterious and legendary for a long time.
Flight of the Navigator, though, I must have watched a dozen or two times! Good stuff. :-D

MH (-)

@Heffboom_Konijn *hughugs* You are a good and wonderful person, love.

@phenokage@snouts.online Aww, sad to hear that, but at least they're both phenomenal artists in their own right! :-)

@phenokage@snouts.online Blotch parting ways with the production company, or parting ways with each other as an artist team-up? Either way, sad news!

work (-)

@zx3 This is beautiful in its own way. :-)

(Also I keep forgetting that the girl's name is Yori, which is also not-relatedy my phoenix-self's name. :-P )

My house almost burned down yesterday!

@mawr Holy shit that's scary. D:
I...do not think outlets are supposed to be daisy-chained, and I'm not even an electrician. o.O
I'm glad you caught that before serious problems!

re: The Three-Body Problem (book)

That said, I think they mention a thing like that and then /later/ give you an explanation that is... equally rediculous but sorta makes sense in the whole context of the story. :-}

re: The Three-Body Problem (book)

@starkatt Ah, yeah, that was kinda silly. :-P

@starkatt Which bit? I'm curious. (I have read the book if you need to spoiler-tag it for others.)

time, age, moods -

@IrisKalmia *nods* Mine's in also about a week (same day as @Kyresti , go figure), but at this point I'm kinda ambivilant too?

re: Meta

@Oneironott They show up fine for me on web version, and even on my mobile client!
It's floating petals now, right? Not hearts like last night?

The fountain

@Oneironott It's one of my favorite films, and by far my favorite soundtrack!

Lighting/IOT concerns, open question

@Kyresti The ones I saw previously are OpenHAB (openhab.org) and Home Assistant (home-assistant.io).

Lighting/IOT concerns, open question

@Kyresti

Not sure on the security side of things, but I was doing research on this only a month or so ago. You can get home automation hubs that aren't voice-activated, and I saw more than one option to build your own hub via open-source software, a Raspberry Pi, and a Zigbee/(other protocol I forget the name of) adapter. That's probably what I want to do once I have the money for the equipment. :-)
