@LexYeen Trying to read this on my phone, which doesn't have most of those emoji, is a bit like playing Wheel of Fortune. :-P

@memnus@octodon.social Oh dang, that actually sounds pretty fun.

@memnus@octodon.social What does double blind mean in this case?

@starkatt Yeah, I had to do that with one of my focus meds...but I didn't know about this then, and had to tell my psych that I couldn't afford it.

@zebratron2084 I think largely we just needed to be /found/ by other queer-nerd subcultures. It's easier now than it used to be. :-}

Work Thoughts

@mawr @KoBunny I feel like the boundaries /have/ been set but continue to be ignored.
I don't think either or them are doing it intently or maliciously, but more that they just don't take the job very seriously.
My thoughts here are heavily biased, though, and I'm not perfect in behaviors either. It's probably a good thing that I'm not in charge, and I'm sorry, Ko, that you're having to be in this situation.

@Leucrotta That was part of the simulated morality program, and I think we're supposed to assume that it was flawed, and led to Gonzo having some /very/ strange kinks as he grew up.

My favorite fan-theory is that Gonzo is actually /still/ stuck in that simluation, rather than being the barely-convincing-as-a-sentient-entity monster that we see on screen and stage.

@Leucrotta The Animuppets were still pretty hit and miss, but there's some good ones.

"The Final Flight of the USS Swinetrek" was probably my favorite, because it had some crossover with the second film, but "Muppetulated" is a close second. Peter Chung's style really lends something amazing to Gonzo's origin story.

Ooooh. I love underground spaces and trying to visualize how they connect to other spaces. This is really relevant to my interests!

Random dude in the light rail/bus tunnel asked me "do you like magic cards?"
I answered "no, I don't play Magic".

Pretty sure he doesn't know where I work. So maybe I'm just...nerd presenting? :-/

@zebratron2084 *Ahem* your many _identities_, not "dentities". I'm not confuser by the number of teeth in your mouth.

@zebratron2084

I used to be just a dragon named Cobalt Blue, or Cobaltie, or just Blue.

Now I'm an otter (Lai, you might have met them before, full name is still Nikolai), a phoenix (Yori, somewhat new, but most-often fronting), and a kobold toy (unnamed, synthetic, but also what the dragon has retired into).

But overall system still goes by Emanate. :-}

(and like, you probably knew alll that already, but how many times have I been confused by /your/ many dentities, in the past? :-P )

Washington State Politics: Help Needed (plz boost)

@mawr Thanks! I used this, it was well-worded. :-)

@Dex

Wow, I do too.

...pretty sure I don't know one of the presenters...or at least, the one I know who fits a similar description has /wings/. :-)
