Ooooh. I love underground spaces and trying to visualize how they connect to other spaces. This is really relevant to my interests!

Random dude in the light rail/bus tunnel asked me "do you like magic cards?"
I answered "no, I don't play Magic".

Pretty sure he doesn't know where I work. So maybe I'm just...nerd presenting? :-/

Fine quality tooting about foods today on my timeline, which went in many strange and disgusting places. :D

Now if you'll excuse me, I have a chicken alfredo pasta pizza slice and a BBQ steak and tater tot pizza slice to eat. :-P

Some good news this morning:

Washington state is now also allowing changing a birth certificate to "X" instead of M or F!

I got an email about it just this morning. :-)

Charles Xavier remains stoic in the face of the unstoppable while confirming the reality of the situation to students trained on illusions.

Calling it now: this is the 2018 equivalent of the "this is fine" dog.

Huh. Art-Deco "steampunk"? Yes please. This is weird and disturbing in parts but also beautiful!

The design notes in the interview are neat to see, too.

( @literorrery especially )

I just remembered a neat silly tag-like game I invented in my Senior year of high school, and figured out how to rework it and a perfect place to play it in.

More details on this later. :-}

Crows: fluffy hoodlums with murder in their hearts and no flocks to give. A bunch of nare-do-wells.

Thanks for the company and dinner @memnus@octodon.social !

Every so often I get a song stuck in my head from my choir days back in high school (and a bit of college). This one popped into my head today and I...actually still have much of it memorized!

This is one of the most fun songs to perform, and here's a really excellent performance of it, complete with similar gestures to what I remember. (Don't worry, this isn't a religious song, but it is somewhat gender binary. :-P)

Seattle now has three different directly competing bike rental services. Plus the one that already folded. O.o

What is tech even.

Plurality; Multiplicity

For a while, I was really enamored with gem fusion (see Steven Universe) as a metaphor for my selves and integration.

That's changed a bit; as they individuate more and more, I'm much more often just one at a time.

However, today I find myself a bird with electrical affinity instead of fire, and realize that this is likely a fusion between Lai and Yori (so, Yorai?) It's an interesting mindspace to explore, and I should think about the others in combination too.
