and now he's burbling about misunderstanding quantum physics. *sigh*

I legit have no idea what he's talking about. "coriolis effect doesn't exist" "yet it's taught in schools and can't be found by any gyroscope yet taught to effect and be found by gyroscopes" wat

wow, there's a guy in the WoW guild chat banging away about "the mandela effect" and how it's a conspiracy for ??? and it's so hard to find "real evidence" and ??? and. wow. it's kind of fascinating to watch, but also kind of sad.

@Jacel an entire generation was thus seduced to David Bowie's Area...

@Ulfra_Wolfe@witches.town *attempts to favorite this 5000 times*

@kara_dreamer@witches.town I gotta admit I loved that movie, solely and entirely because of the TyranidsIMEANbugs whatever they called them, they were BEAUTIFUL. 💓

dream, abusive ex

just remembered that I also dreamed I ran into my most recent abusive ex while RPing in WoW. since that's where I met him, and I've heard that he's also server-migrated to WRA, it's not impossible--I've been keeping a sharp eye out for suspicious RP bios. :|

@Jacel omggggggg eeeee

now I want one to put a "stereotypically attractive human female" icon on and see how long it can keep stringing on hopeful horny guys. XD

@Jacel *loling endlessly at the spam account trying to respond to BronzeEbooks*

That whole "lol if you grew up in the 80s onwards you were promised a seedy cyberpunk dystopia not anything nice."

a) Optimistic Scifi continued throughout the mainstream media during the peak of the cyberpunk movement.

b) Cyberpunk at its genesis & its core was prophetic, not a 'promise'.

It was "Stop f*ing the world up or this will happen to our kids", not "Hey kids, guess what you've got to look forward to".

"occasionally, if you're not careful, you end up with Pooka loafs."

July the Fourth be with you, americhums!

(Am I doing it right?)

@Oneironott I enjoy discussing such things with you, hon. *nosetouch* <3

Dysphoria [Species], mild

@Oneironott ooooh yeah. when I was a kid and people asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up I'd often answer "a cat." they'd laugh. I wasn't joking. although the thought I didn't say was, "anything but a human..."

in a way, the species dysphoria makes my gender dysphoria easier to deal with; I know I'll never get the right body in this lifetime, so why worry about details like gender presentation? :P
