My home is still safe, but many others are *completely obliterated.*

hey masto, is there a general sense of ethics/community standards about making accounts that mirror/crosspost birdsite accounts that you don't own? like basically there are a few birdsite accounts i enjoy seeing but i don't want to keep checking birdsite for them. is it a thing to ask for permission to set up such a thing? does it get complicated if it's an agency/organization run feed instead of an individual?
have other people done this?
the crows have me trained... they also have me trained to put out peanuts on the porch railing when they come by, though that behavior's been interrupted lately with the seasonal territorial disputes.

@mawr oooh, yay! (forcibly refrains self from burbling about local birds) if you have a place and an interest in setting up a birdfeeder, I'd be happy to give advice and point you in the direction of an excellent local store. ;)
@mawr they do it on the porch railing sometimes, and the cats and I all go "!!!!????!!!" until I realize/remember what it was...
@mawr was it a flicker? they do "territorial drumming," which makes a really loud noise to show off how awesome they are, and they deliberately pick the noisiest things they can hit--windows, sheet metal--empty metal garbage cans are favorite, great resonance. XD
