Politics ranting //loud cawing// violence mention (-----)

@Ulfra_Wolfe@witches.town @thefishcrow *blush* it doesn't come out as much nowdays as a product of my current, uh, spiritual state--when the human and dragon bits merged into me, it blunted a lot of Rasha's (the dragon part) violent impulses. but let's just say the feral dragon instinct is still *there*... maybe I should let it out more often. on a leash, perhaps. :]

mmmm.... teeeaaaa. (you know you've been really sick when drinking peppermint tea with honey is This Whole Big Almost Overwhelming Thing)

Politics ranting //loud cawing// violence mention (-----)

@thefishcrow @Ulfra_Wolfe@witches.town my daydreams are of going all "big fire-breathing dragon" on them, smashing their mansions and yachts and taking all their precious little gewgaws away to hoard in a cave, burning the shell that's left, and *eating them*. not in a sexy friendly vore way, more in the Jurassic Park "you're still alive when they begin to eat you" sort of way. :D

Politics ranting //loud cawing

@thefishcrow @Ulfra_Wolfe@witches.town I actually heard that in a crow-caw voice in my head. :D

problematic food discourse

@guerrillarain@witches.town yessssss. I want orange *juice* not orange *semi-liquid fibers*, bleargh.

Seattle social reflections

@kara@occult.camp fwiw I feel that way fairly often, too. :/

@vahnj me either. I read the explanations and I understand that's a thing for some people, or it was for them growing up or something, but it wasn't for me, or at least I don't remember it being a thing at all--there were plenty of McD's around where I grew up, but I don't remember ever getting *excited* about going *there*.

*shruggles*?

I would love to see a SF farming sim, maybe where you're part of a lost colony on another world maybe.

So a setup something like Rimworld maybe, but with a Stardew Valley aesthetic. Different sorts of crops, more need to establish protection against the local life forms, need to research and experiment with gathered plants and the like. I'd definitely play something like that.

Medical examiner says he OD'd on somethin' called Fish Dumplings. Housekeeper found him passed out in bed wearin' nothin' but a purple apron, super glued to a bagel.

the short version. (mention of knives)

@bug aaaah, thank you! I had some vague idea of the context, but not a clear understanding of why. and I'd never heard of the "ratchet" cultural thing before, and now I have learned two things! :)

sick, whining, mildly gross

what time is it?
it's stagger around blankly with tissues stuck up my nose o'clock!

I don't think I've slept more than two hours since night before last. the NyQuil in't working any more. time to pop some DayQuil, drink caffeine, and try to stay awake all day so I can maybe sleep tonight.

UUUUUGGGGGGHHHHHHH

okay, gonna try that sleep thing again now. gnight awrrooo <3

@senemura@occult.camp it's definitely not just you. :|

ancient Egyptian history

@mona@cybre.space *eeeee* *blush*

ancient Egyptian history

@mona@cybre.space so anyway, Cleopatra talking about the pyramids of Giza as being "ancient" was *honoring* their ancestors for their amazing feats, and the Egyptians loved it, and I'm done with my pickles. XD

ancient Egyptian history

@mona@cybre.space by the time of the Greek governers, the Egyptians themselves considered the Pyramids to be a mystic ancient miracle, something that nobody nowdays could possibly reproduce. they were a huge tourist draw even then, and Egyptian guides would make up whatever plausible-sounding bullshit would get the best tips from the tourists. ;)

have you heard about the Nubian pyramids? they were a neighbor civ, and they tried to build pyramids but couldn't figure out the trick.
