@Angle@witches.town fwiw basic sewing is SUPER EASY. sewing so that repairs 1. are strong enough to withstand repeated use 2. don't cause the fabric to bunch/pull uncomfortably 3. don't look like godawful hackjob repairs is SUPER HARD. I can do basic hand-sewing, but after a few hideous attempts I won't even try to do repair-sewing. though I could sew on a patch, and use bright contrast embroidery floss to make it look intentionally hacky! like the patches on my bag, which I will post a pic of sometime. XD

every once in a while, when I'm feeling kinda down about my life, I go to the Captain Awkward forums and read a thread that's just like "HOLY HELLFIRE, WHY ARE YOU PUTTING UP WITH THIS, WHAT EVEN IS THIS MESS," and my life slides neatly into perspective for the actually pretty awesome thing it actually is. :D
