At this point saying you're a furry is about as specific as saying you like movies or video games.
And I think the big takeaway from a fandom with a huge range of incomes, professions, subinterests, kinks that make mine look ridiculously boring, intelligence which makes me look real conventional, and spiritualities which make me look like the most hidebound atheist, is that really, kindness is the part that counts most.

GF baking takes practice, even with good cookbooks/instructions, and there's so much I want to try--I got a GF baking cookbook from a place I know does *fantastic* stuff. I really need a few things before I get started like another cookie sheet, round cake pans, a frosting spatula, a good set of measuring cups/spoons, etc....

@cassolotl@cybre.space but I feel like... despite all the things I've done to prevent the "stranger danger" kind of assault, I've been so vulnerable for much of my life to much more insidious emotional assault tactics, in part because most people rarely count them as "abuse" or "assault"--despite the fact that they can be just as damaging in the long run.

I've never been overtly sexually assaulted or harassed... no, I can't say that, but the situations were relatively mild, and my reactions have generally been scary enough that they didn't go farther and weren't repeated. (one twit rather gratifyingly fell down a flight of stairs backwards to get away from my reaction; I still treasure that memory.)

@Yarideki the size below "small" in 5th Ed is Tiny, there's stats for that--basically you have penalties to movement and damage, but advantages to AC (smaller things are harder to hit) and maybe things like stealth.
