Fashies on Masto.
The thing about the alt-reich and fashies is that they invade and co-opt things that they consider a) culturally well connected and/or b) a threat to their message. It's going on in the synthwave community right now thanks to w* and it'll probably start again in the goth community soon.
It was only a matter of time before Masto got invaded. Organization to do this is probably happening on Voat or Discord. I'm surprised it took this long.

and I keep thinking about the scene a few episodes ago with Bortis and his mate having an argument in their cabin. that kind of scene would be happening ALL THE TIME if ST were real. XD also it was very realistic and adorable, while also being believably "alien," y'know?
@aldersprig@tootplanet.space Spouse and I have been watching Orville too. every once in a while we're like "hey, you'd never see that on Star Trek... but that's what people would probably do, yep." also I love the little succulent plants all over the place, presumably for air quality, in Orville. it's been really interesting, watching it explore things that Star Trek would never have touched...
