@seventhhorn that is a very nice buttlook, yes!
@Azure it kind of messes with my visual perception, it's difficult for me to watch sometimes, like loud static or something. I loved Tom Baker's scarf, though, and I've knitted a couple of versions of it, though I never got them more than six feet long. kinda makes me want to take up knitting again, so I can make another one! XD
@Azure yeah, I've been told that wrt: six. his Doctor was very badly treated by the writers and producers, staring with that godawful coat. >___<
I am statistically speaking almost certainly older than you are (based on predominant online social media use), over halfway through my fourth decade. ;)
@sargoth it's a supercyberhighway with cybertrucks and cybercycles that go through tubes in straight lines and if they crash into each other they explode
I know it's true I saw it in a movie
also you can fly in the cyberhighway and have infinite guns and kill people by shooting lasers from computer monitors and make cars kill people
Three questions for TERFs
@noelle I'm not a TERF, but I'e always known that if I woke up physically changed to "the other gender," I wouldn't leave the house for DAYS. like, I have actual *plans* in case that happened. >___> and I'd want to know how and why I'd been changed so I could swap it around at will, because HOW AWESOME WOULD THAT BE??? especially if I could do it for others too! *wanders off in happy daydreaming...*
@Elizafox are you telling me it isn't just a series of tubes???
@Azure #5, Peter Davidson! he was my first, and I imprinted on him at a very early age. ;) I also like Tenant, probably because he derived his performance deliberately from Davidson. I like all of them that I've seen (and I've seen all of the existing shows, though some of them only once [or twice]), except for six, I cannot *stand* Colin Baker's Doctor or his screechy annoying companions. UGH.
@cute_weeds it is neither good, nor bad; it is merely a tool. it is a medium of communication, like speech, writing, telephones and telegrams. I think it is overall a good thing, because I believe that communication is overall a good thing, despite the fact that it can be used for bad ends.
I'm also infinitely amused that #doctorwhoday is the day before my own birthday. ^____^ (well the day and several years before, DW is almost a decade older than I am!)
oh yeah, it's #doctorwhoday! I've been a DW fan since I was... 11-ish? I think? maybe younger, but I know by the time I got into junior high school I was obsessed enough to make DW stuff in craft classes (I made a ceramic TARDIS and--something in a sewing class, maybe a pillow, with "I <3 DW" on it) and badger my parent into taking me to local conventions.
I still <3 DW, Moffat hasn't ruined it for me, though he did put me off it for a while. new female Doctor incoming! :D

An affirmation for those of you headed home to doubters, skeptics, and concern trolls:
Your identity is not rooted in their belief, but in yours. Your identity is valid because you say it is. Whether you pass in your chosen life is immaterial to its truth. You are who and what you say you are. That you don't, and perhaps can't, embody your inner self is not evidence against its reality. I see you.
