@aldersprig@tootplanet.space how much fur did you need for the felting, and how big a felted bit did you make? I've been tempted to keep the fur I brush off the catbeasts and Do Something with it, but it never seems like it's enough to work with. are your cats shorthair? were you able to spin it? or did you needle-felt it? sorry, I have many questions! XD

yep--viruses. the way they were explained to me in biology class, when they go dormant, they're essentially dead, until they're exposed to the proper conditions and then they revitalize. you'd have to read up about it, I may be remembering it wrong. also some kinds of spores, mostly fungal, can last a really long time in a dormant state.

@literorrery ach, hon. if you can take the day off work Monday, it sounds like you could really use a recovery day. much empathy, and hopes that you're able to recharge and relax soonest. (also very much looking forward to reading the essay!)
