@InspectorCaracal@tootplanet.space in WoW they call them "races" but I insist on calling them "species" for pretty much that reason. yeah, some of them can evidently interbreed, but it doesn't happen often enough to matter, plus MAGIC makes that whole argument irrelevant. some mage thinks breeding owls and bears would be awesome, and we get owlbears. *all the shrugging*

@zebratron2084 that took me down a YouTube hole of watching Gumball clips (I want to watch more of this now) until I got to a bit where the main character (Gumball?) says "something plot-related! Fred Rogers was a Pittsburgh native, and all of the episodes were filmed at the WQED building on 5th Ave. He's the city's unofficial patron saint because we all loved him so much.
For whatever reason, the city put all these dinosaurs near landmarks, and they were decorated by local artists.

had to go to the office to say "oh hey my dining room light fixture is leaking," but the response was prompt and gratifying, seemed to do a very good job of diagnosing the problem, and should be fixed today. so yay for that!
