so I know what I want for breakfast now but I don't have any pancakes or pancake mix so I'll be having waffles.

I ordered my pancakes and was happily picking toppings when it suddenly occurred to me to question whether this place was gluten-free. I'd thought it was, that was the whole reason for going out here in the first place, but I wasn't seeing any signs or anything indicating that it was. and just as I was hitting peak uncertainty I woke up, choking on my own drool, because THOSE PANCAKES LOOKED AND SMELLED AMAZING. ;______;

we drove quite a long while, then there was discussion whether the food place in question would even be open because it's a pancake place and it was nighttime, but once we found it it turned out that yes, it was open.

the theme was that you'd get a big paper/styrofoam cup, put fries in the bottom, put pancake toppings on top of them (??? not in a cup or anything, just... drizzled on the fries *bleah*), and then when the pancakes were done they'd go on top of the cup like a lid.

dreamed about crow nests and fledglings and predating hawks and fruiting trees (lemons and oranges and *huge* deep red roses) in a rather confusing sequence, but it was pretty and somehow satisfying.

then dreamed about going out to food, driving with a friend across a toll bridge that had a "press this button if you're planning on spending more than $7 on the other side" exception which everybody used so much they let me through without even pressing it. xD

me: *quietly* good job, Roomba *pats*

me: you're doing a good job, Roomba *as it toodles around the office*
Spouse: you do not need to encourage the Roomba.
me: Roomba needs pats and love!
Spouse: THAT IS NOT HOW A ROOMBA WORKS.

something is blooming today that I am direfully allergic to. this is *miserable*

I dreamed I was a monster again. some kind of mist-cat, I was basically a largish (the size of a small room) quantity of mist, until I formed bits of myself to attack people with, and I horribly murdered a couple of people before disappearing down a storm drain. it was pretty fun. my apologies to the person who had me as their nightmare...

I also dreamed about tiny adorable black goat-sheep that I got to pet and snuggle. dreams = winning
