I started throwing away some of the random debris that's been accumulating on my desk, and am having to stop because SO MUCH DUST AUGH. D: D: D: *coughcoughsneeze*
took out litter bag and some recycling. the trash hasn't been picked up in... a while, and the dumpsters are both piled high. on the other claw, I had to crack an ice seal to open the lid to the recycling dumpster. :P
have volunteering scheduled for Wed and Fri mornings. looking at the weather forecast... I may have to Lyft in. yay scary black ice and darkness conditions on that last stretch of road. >____<
napped! I felt bad about it until I reminded myself that I spent most of yesterday in severe pain, and I kinda need a day to recover from that. :P now Spouse and I are foraging up dinner, and I'm looking at the remainder of today's to-do list and going uuugggghhhhh... (cleaning the catbox, yey)

I was a bit worried about the "need to feed it once every hour OR IT WILL DIE" thing, but the dream changed/ended before that could be more than a mild concern. XD

dreamed I was "camping" next to a car; I'm not sure what was actually going on there, if it was recreation, desperation, or survival; a later bit implied a more survival-oriented situation, with "things hunting me" but was very vague and low-key.
I also dreamed I tried to rescue a stork/crane of some kind, but it escaped me and got killed, but then immediately came back to life as a fast-growing downy chick, which I was then able to rescue properly.
dozed off at around 11:30, and semi-woke for the fireworks at midnight. they seemed kind of lackluster this year, though... only lasted for like 6 minutes? I was expecting to be kept awake for at least fifteen minutes. either that, or I've gotten really good at sleeping through stuff, which would be an acceptable alternative!

okay I am the tired. 2018 will have to happen without me. or at least, I'm going to try to go to sleep--though my odds of being able to actually sleep are low, since it means sleeping through the BOOMBOOMBANGPOP in a couple of hours, but I'm going to give it a shot anyway. :P <3
