WoW/computer performance griping
with my graphic setting on 3 out of 10, I should be getting more than 9 frames per second. if I turn the setting down to 1 I can get up to 29! and my computer is still making sad sounds. I don't know what's going on but it doesn't seem good. :( I've backed up my files to an external drive... that's about all I can do, and hope. and get used to using my laptop all the time because that seems to be what's gonna happen soon...
holy Crowyote I love "Manly Guys Doing Manly Things" (comic) http://thepunchlineismachismo.com/archives/comic/clearly-they-ride-minibikes-and-wear-tiny-tuxedos eeeee cute fluffy squishy raptor babies eeeeeeee
dreams (cw BABY, HAVING A DAMN BABY, very vague implied death)
in that dream I was in a maternity ward--the dream ~conveniently skipped~ all the horrible being pregnant and giving birth parts, and instead had me being treated kindly by nurses who gave me a "baby" (it was more like a "baby-concept") and I was all "oooh yay baby! so happy!" and then I woke up a little and thought "but I can never have a baby, sad" and then I woke up a little more and thought "BLEEARRRGH DO NOT WANT BABY"
dreams (cw BABY, HAVING A DAMN BABY, very vague implied death)
two dreambits.
first a dream about a thing called "the Veil," a fancy beaded curtain that seemed to block off a large room. if you peer through the curtain you seem to see the room full of things you desire, but if you go through the curtain you never come back. (yes how very HarryPotterish)
then a dream about HAVING A BABY which I *swear* was meant for somebody else because EUGH.

three good things (includes food mention)
3. I made Spouse a cup of vanilla chamomile tea and he said it actually helped! (he's been on a new medication and the side effects are becoming hellish; we have an appointment to talk to the dr. and get it changed Thursday)

three good things (includes food mention)
1. the walk to the store and back was nice; since it wasn't raining I was able to get through a good chunk of the book I'm currently reading.
2. while out I had an indulgence of a Menchie's sundae thing!
3. ummm.... I'll think of something! XD
three good things
re:lrb: that does seem like a good habit to get into. I was originally told it was "three things to be thankful for," but (me being me) it immediately devolved into asking exactly who I'm supposed to be thankful to, and being unsatisfied with "well it's a general spiritual thing." I just... don't work well with that. XD but I can definitely list three good things!
I lost the conversation to which this is germane, but: if a social place is becoming polluted, leaving is just as valid a response as trying to clean it up. If you prefer to try to get rid of negative elements, good for you, but don't shame people for just walking away - that just contributes to the toxicity of the place for them.
