Oh, thank gods, this year the "what to do if someone starts shooting up your workplace" video in the corporate emergency preparedness training website has a content warning AND is skippable.

Just... everyone please forgive me if I get stressed or curt or unavailable about it. I'm learning on the job here. I'm TRYING to get into a good training program for it, but the school is in a whole other reality and I'm still trying to work out how to navigate the application process successfully.

Also! If anyone else is a design-type individual trying to find a source for mockup user images that are not hella white, this may save you the very irritating hour I spent flipping through Flickr and stock-photo sites:

Today I learned that the HTML element that Flickr puts over images to prevent right-click downloading of them has the CSS class "facade-of-protection". How APPROPRIATE. ;)

💭 Tangent: Is it weird that I tend to wanna use "furore" to say "public upheaval" without the connotation of anger that I get from "furor?"
