In my head furry has always had a small contingent of people who were like "stop! stop! that's Lewd, and those cartoon foxes aren't even married!!" or "no you are Not Allowed to be half-wolf half-skunk, that's not realistic. And don't even think about mixing sexual dimorphisms"
and everybody else pretty much ignored them & is going full speed ahead with their toy wooden-block dragicorn that TFs people using mind control pheromones or whatever
Drugs
I'm still feeling a bit ungrounded... Introspective... Uncanny.
This eclipse thing... I have never had an experience where I've had a harder time just coming back from it, being able to go 'okay back to daily life now'
And I've taken a LOT of psychedelics.

The thing that's blowing my mind about the eclipse is just... Okay. You've probably seen an eclipse portrayed in some media and how it's all super-dramatic but looks kinda fakey? Yeah, no, that's how it looks and feels. The most realistic version of all that.
It looks exactly how you'd expect... in a way you can't even imagine.
A bit hard to do good photography in that emotional state but:

Kinfolk are people who've become trusted enough that they've undergone a rite to spare them from Delerium
Pure Breed is cut, it doesn't really do moch other than provide a different sort of social cachet.
Ancestors seems fine TBH? Just consider them ancestors of spirit rather than blood. (And it's a cool mechanic)
