Posting this again in honor of the InSight landing today on Mars.

It is important, little robots. Thank you, and godspeed.

So, about last night… (CW: Bandaza 2018)

Funny part of last night: Getting asked unprompted: "Du you like dark meat?"

Lovely part of last night: So many snuggles with so many awesome and wonderful people.

Needed part of last night: Unburdening and voicing things that have been stored locally for FAR too long.

Unwanted part of last night: still feeling like an imposter when getting compliments on my appearance. I really hope that goes away soon.

re: Quality Furry Lewd Content

@orrery Sign me up, please! having an intoxicating nano-cloud platform sounds lovely.

Tonight was good, and hard. For different reasons. All of them live inside my head. This is not on anyone I know, and certainly not anyone who can read this. It's all just bad, un-labled wiring, stale data that won't get flushed from cache, and old, poorly trained machine learning algorithms that have been production so long that all the documentation is out of date, unreliable, and rotted.

I have 34 years of technical debt, and the new TPM with her buzzwords only got on-boarded a month ago.

Can this day be over so I can hang out with my friends and cry cause I don't feel cool and wanted?

@Leucrotta that is a good and happy pupper! They look well taken care of to be so happy!

re: sunset overdrive okay i'm done talking about this weird bad game

@irisjaycomics this is basically why I gave up on SO. It had so much going for it but the tone and the "Ha ha, you're playing a video game" got a little too dissonant for me. I mean, i probably would've been all about it when I was 15. That and the rail-grinding mechanic felt just a little too off for me compared to the Ratchet and Clank games.

@Motodrachen Hey! scruffy looking pirate girls are awesome! Own that shit!

@Leucrotta I know it wan't jurassic park. I think it was a library book I checked out when I was around 3 or 4 (I started libraries at a very young age. Thanks, Dad!) But I loved them. I loved sounding out their names on my own. I remember Dimetrodon and Pachycephalosaurus being my favorite.

And then Dino Riders came out. And then Jurassic Park (Raptors are still my favorite) came out, and I read it when the movie came out. I was 9 years old) and then Power Rangers (around the same time)

"AXIOS, you are a sophisticated cybernetic hardware platform 20 stories tall. You have lasers and plasma cannons and forcefields and FTL communications. You can reach stable orbit from the bottom of gravity wells. You can handle a slightly chilly data center."

That doesn't mean I have to like it! Security policy should allow for giant robots to have hoodies!

One win for the weekend: I learned how to play the theme to Megas XLR on my bass.

Thanks for last night, everyone. I definitely wasn't at optimal. Sleep has helped some.

Could really use some proof that I'm not a horrible person, cause my brian has pretty much won over the jury at this point.

Selfie, bra

@makyo ...where? Where did you get something so beautifully gay? I need it.

re: Wholesome Merging Postin'~ (++)

@tahajin Sure! I'd be down for that!

re: ANIME HOT TAKE

@tahajin and now i'm a sneaky giant robot!

re: ANIME HOT TAKE

@tahajin ...I never would've thought of that.
