@Leucrotta Voltron. Full stop. Piloting an awesome anthro-combat craft that can join together with others and make something even more awesome? It was wonderful and fulfilling and awesome. And then Power Rangers showed up. and Big Bad Beetleborgs, and a whole bunch of other Saban properties. And then Anime became an actual thing, and not just re-processed kids cartoons. And then I started actually learning how mechanical things worked and were designed and engineered. I started learning about energy, and materials, and I learned about civics, and governments, and people. And I started learning about narratives and conflict, and motivations.
