They should make it a law or something that you can’t come to work when sick. There’s so many people in the office who are coughing and sneezing that that I’d be having a goddamn heart attack if I were squeamish in any way.

For example, quite a few browsers will just reset input[type=“color”] to black if the pre-populated or programmatically entered value is invalid, so seemingly you can never toggle the `badInput` validity state.

Fiddling with form ValidityState and wondering: Is it fair to say a browser doesn’t support a particular validation if it prevents you ever entering an invalid value?
