As a perhaps relatively casual fan of Pokémon (of the main series I’ve played Blue, Diamond, Alpha Sapphire, and Moon), Shield is like… really good. I’m finding it way less tedious than the other recent games, with a much more tangible sense of progress.

The lil bat magnet I got something like 11 years ago in Malaysia has gotten pretty roughed up by now. Maybe it’s time for retirement.
