@tom Control is the type of game which really will never work well on 8th gen systems at all, CPU-wise. Even a mediocre modern PC will have a better time with it than a PS4

@Verdigris @body@mastodon.social the main weakness of humans is are social impulses aren't designed to be robust to "hacking"/abuse, since that's a pretty recent invention. hopefully a reasonably safe AI would have more luck in that respect

@body@mastodon.social your have to be pretty ignorant to believe such a thing. any computing problem, if not optimise-able can be brute forced as long as the processes are deterministic and contain a small enough amount of information. the brain may not work anything like a computer but neither do any of the things computers are routinely asked to simulate
