Korobeiniki will forever be /the/ tetris music, but this....
This is well worth listening to.
While Korobeiniki is earwormy and one of those pieces you never forget the tune to, this theme is elaborate and one of those pieces you never forget listening to.
Twenty-six minutes is quite long, but... well worth the time to listen.
I can't even talk about the technique like I usually do. Just listen, and see.
@Felthry Oh, wow, thank you for turning me onto this! Both myself and @literorrery have been grooving to this lately. It slots perfectly into genre without a name, a steady trancey chippy not-quite-ambient sort of thing that has steady motion without being too anthemic and active for calm work, or so ambient that it disappears completely.
I'm dubbing this "chipwalk". I think I may start rounding up as many good examples as I can to build a playlist for getting work done.
@ElectricKeet @literorrery There was some really interesting experimentation with the Commodore 64! I can see why people have such nostalgia for the SID chip.
